Dynasty Inn - Bangkok - Thailand
Background
Dynasty Inn is in Bangkok in the district of Nana off of Sukhumvit Rd. The district has many hotels, bars and restaurants. The location of this hotel is next to the notorious Nana Plaza and is a 5 minute walk to the Nana Skytrain station which will take you to many other tourist areas of Bangkok.
Around this area there is a lot of nightlife and plenty of local "action" while surprisingly inside the hotel it wasn't very loud with only sporadic noise from the street. Unfortunately I had a room facing the street.
The hotel didn't have a pool which is unfortunate in Bangkok but the weather was quite mild, unusually, so it wasn't such a drawback but normally I'd want to stay in a hotel with a pool in Bangkok.
Price
I thought the hotel was good value for money the room was a little tired but only because of it's decor which was classic 80's. Really I couldn't find fault considering a room was A$50 per night. Prices in Bangkok have substantially risen in the last 5 years and I would consider this a good value for money hotel.
Verdict
Not the nicest hotel or the nicest location but for a tight budget in Bangkok it's pretty good.
