Travelodium Travel Club

At Travelodium we aim to give you the best international travel information.

To be able to do this we are about to commence our international travel club for independent travellers.

Our travel club will offer discounts on hotel and bed and breakfast accommodation and also tour packages.

What are we offering?

When you go into a travel agency and ask about a certain destination, what happens? You get given a brochure and unless you are ready to book something, you get asked to go away and come back once you're ready to spend some money. What would happen if you asked about fishing charters in South Africa - a blank look or you'll need to book that on the internet. Well that's what we're here for. We are compiling a list of hotels, bed and breakfast accommodations and many different tours that will be available to members of the travel club in one location. The types of holidays that we will offer are things like cooking, fishing, surfing, golf, art retreats, yoga etc the types of holidays where you are active, not just sitting around a pool, although there's nothing wrong with doing that either.

How will it work?

We are presently contacting many travel companies and hotels throughout the world with the purpose of asking them to participate and provide discounts to our club members. Some of these discounts could be for the off season, others throughout the whole year.

Why are the hotels offering the discounts?

Travelodium does not charge any commissions to hotel or travel company owners so they are making a saving by not paying those commissions. Instead of charging commissions Travelodium wants to forward the savings to YOU the traveller. So instead of an agent getting a commission you get a discount making your trip cheaper.

Do I have to book the tour and pay through Travelodium.com?

No, all bookings will be taken and paid to the owners of the travel company/hotel on their website. All you will need to do is quote your club member number to get the discounts. Each of Travelodium's tour pages will provide links through to the travel company/hotel website.

What progress have you made?

Well, we have a listing of 30,000 hotels throughout the world and we are presently compiling a list of travel companies that would like to participate in the club. We will keep you informed of progress on our monthly newsletter.
