You spend entire days being pampered with a choice of long, healing massages, relaxing in a soothing salt water pool with breathtaking views and choosing from a wide range of gastronomic delights, prepared with local organic cuisine. Will you leave the grounds today to explore, go boating or spend the day seaside with a picnic? or take to the hammock with a new book? Whatever your choice, your experience will be sensory and utterly soul-recharging.
Accommodation
The four traditionally styled houses on the Estate are scattered throughout the grounds. To ensure privacy, each house is surrounded by its own gardened terraces, which include relaxation areas and outdoor dining facilities. Footpaths and stairways link the houses and meander through the groves and gardens down to the swimming pool; and further through the forest to beaches below the property. Hidden in a shaded glen in the forest, an al fresco massage pavilion awaits, and children enjoy a farm area which is quite separate to other facilities. Organic vegetable garden and herb gardens and fruit trees are also on the Estate.
The outdoor cooking area, with refectory dining table; our morning coffee shop, and the summer house beside the pool terrace provide focal areas for those who like wander from the privacy of their own house to take the opportunity to socialize. Thus, you are able to enjoy the combination of proximity to the Estate's facilities and the privacy of your own house.
The Estate accommodates up to 20 people in total, with each house having:
- 2 bedrooms (one double, one twin) each with sea views across its own shaded verandah
- living room, including fold-out settee/bed
- fully equipped kitchen with freezer, fridge and oven
- indoor and outdoor dining areas
- bathroom
- wood burning heater
- CD player, radio with audio tape, telephone and computer connections, on request

April is to be recommended, gardens stunning, everything just waking from winter, the pace is perfect for winding down. We’ve done bike rides, a day in a boat, pottered about sleepy villages. Breakfast without parents is the height of holiday glamour and excitement, plus racing around the fantastic grounds, inventing wild games. Thank goodness Marilyn and Spero are such peaceful souls.
